We’re Surya and Richa, the duo behind Box of India, SRN Partners, and Lessly — three ventures built from one shared mission:
to make life simpler, smarter, and a little more joyful for the communities we serve.
🧡 How It All Began
After living in New Zealand for over a decade, we realised something surprising — there wasn’t an easy, reliable way to order Indian groceries online.
Every weekend meant long drives, long queues, and occasional disappointment with products past their best-before dates.
So, in 2023, we decided to change that — launching Liv247, New Zealand’s first app for Indian groceries.
A year later, that idea evolved into something bigger: Box of India — a movement that brings the taste, warmth, and spirit of India to homes across New Zealand and now Australia, starting with Sydney and Melbourne.
Today, thousands of customers shop with us through the Box of India App, enjoying free delivery over $69, lightning-fast fulfilment, and the most exciting grocery experience ever created — from $1 Weekends to Rich with Richa giveaways.
👨👩👦 Our Family & Our Home
We’re not just co-founders — we’re partners in life and proud parents to Aggu, our 10-year-old son who keeps us grounded and inspired.
We live in Orewa, a coastal town north of Auckland that embodies what we love most — simplicity, balance, and sunshine. From this small community, our vision has grown across the Tasman, connecting thousands of Indian and non-Indian families through food, culture, and convenience.

Before groceries, there were numbers.
Both of us are Chartered Accountants and co-founders of SRN Partners, a Xero Platinum Partner firm recognised among the top 1% accounting practices in New Zealand.
SRN helped us understand the power of systems, trust, and long-term relationships.
Box of India helped us apply that same precision and discipline to something far more emotional — food and culture.
And then came Lessly — our bold new venture redefining accounting for the digital age.
